Our WASA 25 system - The Natural Solution - is always used when green roofs with a small load capacity shall be build with natural materials.
WASA 25 consists of cellulose fibers, plant starch and mineral aggregates. This mix is 100% biodegradable and is pressed into lightweight and easy-to-handle panels. They replace the heavier substrate on the roof. Over the course of time, the WASA 25 panels decompose to humus.
Due to their low weight, the panels can be placed quickly and easily on the roof and applicated just as quickly. The WASA 25 system can be used to create extensive lightweight roofs with a load of less than 50 kg/m².
