| Unroll HYDROTEX directly on the root resistant sealing. Overlap the webs about 10 cm, pose the ribbed side upside down.
HYDROTEX can be heat-sealed by deseaming or hot-air. In this case the overlap can be even reduced.
HYDROTEX can easily be cut with scissors. So corners and margin areas can be build out exactly.
In order to avoid local puddles the roof pitch shouldn´t be less than 2 %. For bigger bumps it is recommended to equalise the bumps with sand.

It is recommended to build a 50 cm wide fringe of gravel all around the roof and around all superstructures on the roof. This gravel fringe should be as high as the total green roof construction until top of the substratum is. HYDROTEX should be installed up to the top level of the gravel fringe. In the border area of gravel fringe a drainage pipe can be placed. This can lead the water to the sink.

Normally HYDROTEX is posed with the ribbed side upside down. On roofs with a pitch of 8° to 10° HYDROTEX is posed with the ribbed side upside and crosswise to the pitch. This avoids a gliding of the substratum. Starting from a roof pitch of 15° an additional shearing protection should be installed.
